Bayou Fire Seasoning
Bold Southern flavor with just the right kick.
Bayou Fire Seasoning is a homemade, salt-free blend of peppers, herbs, garlic, and spices inspired by classic Creole flavors. It's built to bring plenty of flavor without relying on added salt, making it easy to control the seasoning in everything from smoked meats and vegetables to soups, beans, and holiday sides.

1½ tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp white pepper
1 tsp smoked paprika

Mild: Use ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper.
Medium: Use 1½ teaspoons cayenne pepper.
Hot: Increase the cayenne to 2–2½ teaspoons.
How to Use Bayou Fire
Start with approximately 1 teaspoon per pound of meat or vegetables, then adjust to taste.
Try it on chicken, turkey, shrimp, fish, roasted vegetables, potatoes, beans, soups and stews, or smoked side dishes.
It's especially good anywhere you'd normally reach for Creole seasoning.
Why Salt-Free?
Bayou Fire intentionally contains no added salt. Many recipes already contain salty ingredients such as bouillon, smoked meats, sausage, cheese, or other seasoning blends.
Keeping Bayou Fire salt-free lets you build bold flavor first and control the final salt level separately.
🔥 From the Smoker
For an extra layer of flavor, Bayou Fire pairs especially well with foods cooked over pecan, hickory, or oak.
Use it before smoking as part of a dry seasoning blend, or add it to smoked beans, vegetables, and braising liquids.
